Hello Family, Friends and Community;

I am announcing my candidacy for the District Magistrate of the 12-1-05 District of Harrisburg. My experience, judgment and integrity suits me for this position perfectly. My experience as a Harrisburg councilman, Harrisburg Civil Service Commission member for Police and Fire, the Swatara Police Community Advisory Council and former Federal Courthouse Panel are just a few of the ways I have served and ways that uniquely enhance my qualifications for this position. I grew up in Harrisburg and graduated from Harrisburg Public Schools. My dedication to youth and families is obvious with my 14 years as Director of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Dream Showcase. My 35 years of work experience covers Unions, Mental Health, Computer Technology and Cultural Competency proves my diverse employment background. My love for the residents of Harrisburg, and its surrounding area, spans a life time.

District Magistrate Judges are important positions, more than ever with the turmoil we find our country and local communities in today. We need to have a person sitting in that important seat who is fair and just with a clear idea on how their decisions will affect lives. I am that person.
